We will have a monthly yoga class on the first Sunday of each month at the Huntley Hills Train Park in April through September (keeping in mind holidays and bad weather).
Bring a yoga mat and water, and wear comfortable clothes. All levels welcome! FREE for all Huntley Hills residents.
Thank you to Ashley Wolfe from Sporty Yogi who leads the session. Sporty Yogi connects people who think “yoga isn’t for them” and delivers a great work out in an accessible format.
Join us for our quarterly workday to keep our neighborhood looking beautiful! Our main task this weekend will be to spruce up the triangle on the northern of Longview Drive. We will be spreading mulch, pruning, weeding and doing general cleanup.
We also plan to refresh the gravel path at the south end of the park and put down fertilizer and pre-emergent in the Butterfly Garden. Please meet at the train park at 10:00 and we will divide up from there.
Join us for our annual meeting at the HHSTC clubhouse. Pizza & socializing 6 pm; Meeting 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
At the meeting, you will hear from all of the board members about activities in their area. In addition, we have an informative group of individuals from the community to speak and answer questions on various topics:
– Adam Gomez, Civil Engineer PE with Kimley-Horn: Contractor who is working on the proposed roundabout on North Shallowford and North Peachtree Roads.
– Jodie Gilfillan, Director of Parks and Recreation: Update on 2023 park improvements and information on the Chamblee trail master plan.
– Katie Sears, Special Events Coordinator: Plans for fun events coming to Chamblee, including a new event planned in Huntley Hills later this year!
– Melissa and Carole, Board members of HHSTC: Upcoming social events that will be open to the whole neighborhood and the process for renting facilities.
– Public Works: Information about recycling.
– Representatives from the police department and the city council.
Pizza, drinks and dessert provided by the HHNA. Don’t miss this great opportunity to mingle with your neighbors and learn more about what’s happening in your neighborhood and across the city!
Come join the HHNA for a Chili Cook-Off and see who will take home the trophy and neighborhood bragging rights! Prizes will be awarded for 1st through 3rd.

Interested in tasting these yummy creations? Tasting/judging starts at 2:00pm! The HHNA will be providing utensils, condiments/toppings, cornbread and iced tea. Attendees are welcome to BYOB.

The HHNA will team up with neighborhood volunteers to show our appreciation to the 40 or so employees at Chamblee Public Works. We will provide breakfast and sweet treats before the holiday break.

We hope you can join us Saturday, December 3rd from 9 am to 10 am at the HH Train Park for the HHNA Annual Toy Drive. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy or gift card to donate for Chamblee Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” program. The donations provide the “store” for the children to shop.
We will have donuts, coffee and hot chocolate for our neighbors to get together during the drive. If you cannot make it to the event, let us know and we will help coordinate getting your donations to the event.

We hope to: Paint/touch up the Huntley Hills signs, plant new flowers/clean up the Huntley Hills entrance at the train park, weed/spruce up the butterfly garden, maintain the walking path to HHES (through houses between Longview and Forrestal).
The annual Huntley Hills Street Party is back again in 2023! Come join your neighbors for a cookout, live music, lawn games, festive fall kids games and a magician for the kids all outside in the nice fall weather. Burgers, hot dogs, pizza and dessert will be provided along with soft drinks, water and juice. Bring your own beverage of choice and a chair to join the fun.
We are looking for a few volunteers for some brief, 45-minute shifts. Available shifts include food pickup, pre-event set up, sign-in table, food/dessert table, T-shirt sales and clean up. You should have plenty of time to enjoy the party. One other request, we’re also looking for several fold out tables to borrow for the event. If you can pitch in, either with your time or with a table, please send us an email.
